Regional Head of Human Capital (APAC)

About the role

A fast-growing international engineering and professional services organisation, with operations across Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Europe, is hiring its first APAC HR leader. The APAC region is the largest and fastest-growing business unit, with several hundred employees in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines, and plans further expansion. The newly created role leads the people agenda across a growing regional workforce, balancing strategic leadership with operational execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the APAC people strategy aligned to business growth objectives
• Partner with senior business leaders on organisational design, workforce planning and change management
• Build credibility and influence with stakeholders across multiple countries and business units
• Lead and develop the regional HR team and enhance HR capability across the function
• Drive employee engagement, performance management, talent development and succession planning
• Review and strengthen HR processes, governance, systems and operating models to support scale
• Act as a trusted adviser to senior leadership on complex people, culture and organisational challenges

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
• Proven regional HR leadership experience across multiple APAC markets
• Experience supporting organisations undergoing rapid growth, transformation or organisational change
• Demonstrated success influencing and partnering with senior executives and business leaders
• Track record of leading organisational design, culture enhancement and change management
• Experience improving HR processes, operating models and people systems
