Regional Internal Auditor

About the role

The Regional Internal Auditor will support a global US manufacturer by conducting financial, operational and plant audits across Asia and the United States. Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will help shape the audit framework and ensure robust risk‑based controls throughout the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define audit scope, risk‑based plans and strategies for the region.
• Perform full audit cycles, evaluating internal controls and reporting findings with actionable recommendations.
• Track and follow up on audit issues to ensure timely remediation.
• Conduct forensic audits and fraud investigations, driving corrective actions.
• Manage the Whistle Blowing program with independent reporting to the Audit Committee.
• Coordinate internal control policies, ensuring implementation and updates across the group.
• Participate in internal consulting projects to support broader business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 or multinational environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Detail‑oriented, resourceful and proactive with strong interpersonal skills.
