Regional Key Account Manager

About the role

The Regional Key Account Manager will support the Global Account Manager in driving service performance, retention, and profitable growth across key accounts in the assigned region. This role coordinates regional execution, monitors customer performance, and leads continuous improvement initiatives across commercial and operational teams.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Global Account Manager in achieving gross profit targets and retention goals for regional key accounts.
• Coordinate regional execution, customer performance follow‑up, and improvement projects.
• Manage margin analysis, pricing, tariff administration, billing, and DSO performance.
• Standardize and optimize processes to reduce complexity and improve cost‑to‑serve.
• Drive customer retention through value creation, upselling, and cross‑selling.
• Participate in RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and support tender teams.
• Monitor KPIs, data quality, and resolve root‑cause issues with country and business‑unit owners.
• Coordinate implementation of new business, ensuring SOPs and work instructions are aligned.

Required profile

• Proven experience in key account or regional account management within a commercial environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to build multi‑level customer relationships.
• Analytical mindset with experience in margin, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and process optimisation.
