Regional Physical Security Engineer (Singapore)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced physical security engineer to support our sites in Singapore, China and nearby regions. Based in Singapore, the role reports to the Regional Physical Security Technology & Solutions lead and involves up to 30% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer physical security systems for new construction and upgrades across global facilities.
• Serve as the local subject‑matter expert for video surveillance, access control, visitor management, IP intercoms and advanced detection technologies.
• Develop detailed design layouts, device placement drawings and scopes of work for deployments.
• Coordinate with general contractors, GIS/IT, Global Security Technology and security operations to ensure alignment with standards.
• Draft technical specifications for security‑related RFPs and provide on‑site engineering oversight during construction.
• Support incident investigations with video analysis, access‑control data review and system forensics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and engineering enterprise physical security systems.
• Proven expertise with platforms such as C•CURE 9000, Avigilon, Genetec or Lenel.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in engineering, physical security technology or related field (preferred).
• Experience supporting multi‑site, cross‑country deployments in high‑tech environments.

Required skills

• Video surveillance systems (e.g., Avigilon).
• Access control platforms (C•CURE 9000, ACS).
• Visitor management and IP intercom solutions.
• Advanced detection equipment such as metal detectors and X‑ray systems.
• Network architecture knowledge including VLAN segmentation, PoE and cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Proficiency with design tools like AutoCAD and ability to read construction, electrical and low‑voltage schematics.
