Regional Sales Manager (Contract Logistics / Freight Forwarding)

About the role

Our client, a leading logistics and freight forwarding solutions provider, is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive business growth across the Central region of Singapore. The role involves developing new opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and nurturing existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer portfolio within the logistics industry.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to account acquisition.
• Maintain and grow existing customer accounts to drive recurring business.
• Prepare sales proposals and recommend suitable logistics solutions based on customer requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify business opportunities.
• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth service execution.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and business reports for management.
• Attend client meetings and industry networking events to strengthen business relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding or logistics.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related disciplines.
• Good knowledge of air and sea freight operations.
• Ability to travel for business meetings when required.
