Regulatory Compliance Officer – Private Banking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Regulatory Compliance Officer to support the Private Banking business of a leading bank in Singapore. The role will focus on MAS regulatory advisory, change management, compliance monitoring and governance, working closely with internal stakeholders and the Head Office.

Key responsibilities

• Provide regulatory advisory on MAS requirements to business units and internal teams.
• Review new and revised MAS regulations, conduct gap analyses and update compliance policies.
• Assess policies, procedures and marketing materials from a Singapore regulatory perspective.
• Design and execute risk‑based compliance reviews, identifying potential regulatory gaps.
• Advise on Representative Notification Framework (RNF) matters and support related notifications.
• Monitor MAS updates and communicate changes to management and relevant teams.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management and Head Office.
• Support regulatory submissions, enquiries and compliance‑related projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of regulatory compliance experience within a banking or financial institution.
• Strong background in MAS regulatory advisory and interpretation.
• Good working knowledge of the Securities and Futures Act, Financial Advisers Act and Banking Act.
• Experience in regulatory change management, gap analysis, policy review and compliance monitoring.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
