Relationship Manager - SEA Market

About the role

Julius Baer, a Swiss private banking group focused on sophisticated private clients, is looking for a Relationship Manager for the Southeast Asia (SEA) market. The Relationship Manager is the main point of contact between clients and the bank, acting as an external ambassador and internal role model, and is responsible for proactively managing a portfolio of High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth private clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client relationships internally and externally, responding to client needs promptly and professionally
• Provide investment advice in line with the bank's policy and asset allocation, and actively monitor client portfolios and collateral
• Match the frequency and intensity of contact to each client's preference and work with specialists to deliver wealth management solutions
• Acquire new client relationships through your own network and deepen existing ones, increasing assets and share of wallet
• Feed back client views on products and services to the relevant departments so the bank can adapt to market trends
• Develop and implement new marketing strategies with Group and Team Heads, embrace new processes and product initiatives, and take part in ad-hoc projects
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry rules and regulations, and demonstrate honesty, integrity, fair dealing, conflict-of-interest management and adequate risk management

Required profile

• Relevant educational and professional background with a proven track record in servicing a book of clients and acquiring new relationships
• Strong affinity with the geographic market(s) to be covered, and linguistic proficiency and cultural awareness
• Familiarity with the legal and regulatory environment, and excellent knowledge of global financial markets and current affairs
• Good interpersonal skills, team spirit, persistence, persuasiveness and ability to work under pressure
• CACS Papers 1 and 2; preferably CMFAS Modules 1B, 5, 6A, 8A certification
• Where applicable: MAS registered/appointed representative

Required skills

• Working knowledge of T24, Olympics and TEMOS
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
