Reliability & Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Reliability & Maintenance Technician supports the equipment used in ResMed Manufacturing in Singapore. The role ensures equipment performs optimally through routine maintenance, troubleshooting technical issues, assisting with equipment upgrades and complying with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform preventative and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Set up and configure equipment, tools and fixtures.
• Analyse faults and identify, report and coordinate repairs for equipment problems.
• Maintain a work environment that meets OH&S, 5S and GMP requirements.
• Work with related departments to track equipment or tooling faults and performance, and implement preventive maintenance or repair schedules.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities and document maintenance records.
• Perform other tasks as requested to help the business reach its goals.

Required profile

• Diploma or National Trade Certificate (NTC) in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics or automation.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour, 2-3-3-2 shift pattern (preferred).
• Experience in a medical manufacturing industry (preferred).
• Experience in a high-volume, automated manufacturing environment (preferred).

Required skills

• Excellent mechanical skills and good machine electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
• Good written and verbal communication, computer skills and teamwork.
