Relief Teacher, Elementary

About the role

Stamford American International School, an IB World School in Singapore serving students aged 18 months to 18 years, is looking for a Relief Elementary Teacher to join its Elementary team. The role builds and maintains a successful Elementary programme by providing an educational atmosphere conducive to learning and development through inquiry, in line with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience working with children as an elementary homeroom teacher, with relevant qualifications.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or equivalent; Master's degree in Education preferred.
• Professional current teacher licensure or certification is required.
• Good references on request.
• Ability to participate in the Field Studies Program.

Required skills

• Knowledge of curriculum development.
• Highly developed interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English.
• Proficiency with a variety of technology tools.
• Demonstration of the Stamford values: Courage, Ingenuity, Compassion, Integrity.
