Remote Android Engineer – Kotlin & Java (Contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to work remotely on an hourly‑paid contract. You will review AI‑generated Android code, evaluate technical explanations, and create high‑quality reference implementations that help improve AI models used by developers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by writing detailed prompts and reference answers for Android topics.
• Evaluate, rank, and improve AI responses for correctness, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies or unsafe recommendations across real‑world Android use cases.
• Identify and document issues in Jetpack Compose/UI, concurrency, memory, app lifecycle, networking, persistence, and build practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 4+ years of professional experience building production Android applications.
• Expert‑level proficiency in Kotlin (1.6+) and solid knowledge of Java.
• Deep understanding of Android fundamentals, modern UI (Jetpack Compose or Views), and concurrency patterns.
