About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our distributed team. This fully remote position offers flexible scheduling and the chance to work from anywhere within your region while supporting business operations through accurate data handling.
Key responsibilities
- Enter large volumes of data into internal databases, spreadsheets, and management systems.
- Transcribe information from digital and document‑based sources and keep records up to date.
- Verify accuracy of entered information, correct inconsistencies, and perform routine quality checks.
- Process customer records, inventory details, financial transactions, and administrative documentation.
- Generate reports or summaries for management when requested.
- Maintain organized digital filing systems and ensure data security and compliance with privacy standards.
Required profile
- Typing speed of at least 50 wpm with 98 %+ accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and stay productive in a remote environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Clear communication skills for collaborating with remote team members.
- Basic understanding of data privacy and confidentiality practices.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet tools.
- Familiarity with database systems or CRM platforms.
- Experience with cloud‑based collaboration tools.
