Remote Social Media Manager (Beginner Contract)

About the role

This remote position focuses on boosting the digital presence of a boutique hotel in the Braga region of Portugal. You will design and execute targeted social media campaigns to attract guests attending local events and celebrations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media marketing campaigns for the hospitality and events sector.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content on META platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram.
• Write persuasive ad copy and edit advertisements to maximize performance and reach.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign metrics to ensure measurable growth in engagement and bookings.
• Collaborate with hotel management to align content with brand positioning and seasonal promotions.
• Produce periodic content highlighting the hotel’s unique features, guest experiences, and proximity to event venues.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing social media campaigns for hospitality, travel, or event‑focused businesses.
• Advanced proficiency with META platforms (Facebook, Instagram), including ad management and analytics tools.
• Strong copywriting ability with a track record of delivering measurable audience growth, engagement, and lead generation.
• Experience with content planning, scheduling tools, and basic image/video editing.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and availability to work remotely with flexible hours.
• Preferably based in Portugal or possessing solid knowledge of the local market.
