About the role

We are seeking a Research Associate to join our quantum thermodynamics group at NTU, Singapore. The position focuses on theoretical investigations of out‑of‑equilibrium quantum systems, including many‑body dynamics and catalytic resource theories.

Key responsibilities

Conduct original research on fundamental limits of controlling out‑of‑equilibrium quantum systems.
Perform comprehensive literature reviews to stay abreast of recent developments.
Develop and execute theoretical calculations and numerical simulations.
Write and contribute to scientific manuscripts for publication.

Required profile

Master’s degree with excellent academic record in physics, mathematics, computer science or a related discipline.
Strong analytical abilities and a high level of motivation for independent research.
Responsibility and reliability in meeting research milestones.

Required skills

Coding proficiency (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or similar).
