Research Fellow – Computer Engineering / Computer Science

About the role

NTU's College of Computing and Data Science is seeking a Research Fellow to drive cutting‑edge investigations in computer engineering, computer science, and electronics engineering. The role involves developing innovative solutions, publishing research findings, and contributing to real‑world applications such as cyber‑security compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate research problems and design effective experimental plans.
• Conduct high‑impact research, produce scholarly publications, and present results.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and mentor junior students on their projects.
• Assist in translating advanced research outcomes into practical applications, particularly in cyber‑security.
• Monitor project progress, report findings, and adapt approaches as needed.

Required profile

• PhD (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct innovative research and formulate hypotheses.
• Willingness to adopt novel ideas, flexible working hours, and ability to oversee project milestones.
