About the role
Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, through its College of Computing and Data Science, is hiring a Research Fellow to support research and development in Generative AI, statistical machine learning, large language models, stochastic optimization, transfer and evolutionary optimization, and Bayesian optimization for complex design in material and engineering. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Key responsibilities
- Collect relevant datasets and conduct experiments to gain insights on project-related research questions.
- Present research results to collaborators at scientific meetings, or produce reports and publications.
Required profile
- PhD preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
- In-depth knowledge of the project domain.
- Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research and demonstrated strong leadership qualities.
- Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
