Research Fellow – Conductive Adhesives

About the role
The School of Materials Science and Engineering at NTU is seeking a Research Fellow to lead the development of novel conductive adhesives and polymer composites. The successful candidate will work within an interdisciplinary team to advance electro‑initiator chemistry and translate findings into practical applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design, synthesize and characterize functional polymer composites using novel electro‑initiator chemistry.
- Develop and optimise adhesive formulations with conductive properties.
- Manage project timelines, generate technical reports, and prepare journal manuscripts.
- Collaborate with industrial partners and maintain laboratory equipment, including procurement and supplier liaison.
- Document research findings in high‑quality reports and publications.
Required profile
- PhD in Materials, Organic or Polymer Chemistry from an internationally accredited institution.
- Minimum one year of research experience in polymer science, materials science or adhesives.
- Proven record of scientific publications in high‑impact journals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
