About the role
The School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, is recruiting one research fellow to support the NRF Investigatorship project "Interpretable and Automated Cryptanalysis for Tailor-Made Cryptographic Design". The position covers research on cryptography and/or machine learning.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct research on cryptography and/or machine learning.
- Help prepare reports and presentations for the project.
- Publish relevant results at cryptography and/or machine learning conferences and journals.
Required profile
- PhD in Mathematics and/or Electronics and/or Computer Science.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with strong initiative.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong plus: expertise in symmetric cryptanalysis/design or in state-of-the-art explainable AI solutions.
