Research Fellow (Humanities/Arts/Social Sciences)

About the role

The College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences at Nanyang Technological University invites early‑career scholars to join as Research Fellows. This three‑year fellowship supports independent research in humanities, arts or social sciences while contributing to the College’s teaching and interdisciplinary activities.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct original research in your disciplinary field and publish findings.
• Engage with cross‑disciplinary research clusters within CoHASS.
• Contribute to teaching, supervision and administrative duties in the host school.
• Collaborate with faculty mentors and participate in college‑wide initiatives.

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant discipline within humanities, arts or social sciences.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across disciplines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Evidence of scholarly publications is an advantage.

Required skills

• Research methodology appropriate to your field.
• Academic writing and presentation skills.
