Research Fellow (Quantum Information and Resource Theories)

About the role

We are seeking a Research Fellow to advance fundamental and applied studies in quantum information and resource theories at NTU, Singapore. The role focuses on quantum thermodynamics, catalytic resource theories, and the impact of finite-size effects on out-of-equilibrium quantum systems.

Key responsibilities

• Apply quantum information theory techniques to investigate quantum thermodynamic processes.
• Conduct high-quality research on the fundamental limits of controlling out-of-equilibrium quantum systems.
• Explore catalytic resource theories, bridge existing thermodynamic frameworks, and study finite-size effects.
• Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present results at conferences.

Required profile

• PhD in quantum information, quantum thermodynamics, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated research track record with publications on topics such as quantum catalytic processes, hybrid quantum resource theories, or many-body quantum thermodynamics.

Required skills

What we offer

• Opportunity to work in a leading research environment on cutting‑edge quantum science.
• Access to NTU’s state‑of‑the‑art facilities and collaborative networks.
