Research Fellow – Trust Technologies & Digital Forensics

About the role

The National Centre for Research in Digital Trust at Nanyang Technological University seeks a highly motivated Research Fellow to advance trustworthy digital content, AI systems, and forensic technologies for financial crime detection and anti‑money‑laundering efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop trust technologies such as digital forensics for financial investigations, graph analytics, criminal network discovery, and suspicious activity detection.
• Implement and deliver working prototypes or demos of the developed systems.
• Lead or contribute to research and industrial projects, producing scientific reports and papers.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Theory, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong publication record in top‑tier AI, security, privacy, digital forensics, or trustworthy computing venues.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills
