Resident Architect – Supervision & Site Management

About the role

The Resident Architect will lead the architectural supervision of construction projects, ensuring that all works meet contractual, regulatory and client requirements. This onsite role combines technical review, safety oversight and team leadership to deliver high‑quality built environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide supervision services for all architectural works and verify contractor compliance with contracts, authorities and agency standards.
• Oversee the architectural team, issue endorsements, and review drawings, specifications, method statements, risk assessments and design‑for‑safety workshops.
• Prepare and implement site supervision plans, monitor project progress, and produce regular status reports for the client.
• Ensure adherence to statutory codes, quality‑control procedures and safety manuals; conduct roving safety inspections and manage incident reporting.
• Assist the Qualified Person for Design (QPD) with applications for TOP and CSC, and coordinate with authorities for required endorsements.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in architectural and fit‑out works, with at least 5 years on major building construction projects.
• Degree recognised by the Board of Architects (BOA) and strong knowledge of statutory codes and site‑supervision requirements.
• Proven leadership abilities and familiarity with Workplace Safety & Health Manual procedures.
