Restaurant Receptionist – Part‑Time (4 Days/Week)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organised Restaurant Receptionist to join our team on a part‑time basis. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating experience across four working days each week.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage the restaurant’s reservation system and handle phone bookings.
• Maintain a clean and well‑presented dining area, with tables set and ready.
• Control guest flow to support efficient service by waitstaff.
• Oversee the waitlist, communicating accurate wait times to guests.
• Assist with general operations, including bussing tables and cleaning/sanitising as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a hostess or similar role in a fast‑paced restaurant.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Ability to stay calm, composed and detail‑oriented during busy periods.
• Strong multitasking and prioritisation capabilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Experience using reservation systems.
