Retail Finance Manager, Coach SEA

About the role

Tapestry is looking for a Retail Finance Manager to cover Singapore and Malaysia. The role manages sales, discount and margin planning, turns performance insights into business actions and brings modern tools, including AI, into Finance's planning, tracking and reporting. It works with cross-functional teams to strengthen plans, manage risks and opportunities and support profitable decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales, discount and margin planning for Singapore and Malaysia, supporting annual operating plan and long-range planning, and own quarterly outlooks and monthly forecasts
• Track performance against plan, forecast and prior year, explain key drivers, gaps and levers, and manage gross margin performance with Global Finance and the local Inventory Management team
• Own the risks and opportunities view, keep plans current as trading conditions change and agree actions and owners with the right teams
• Partner with Retail, Merchandising, Marketing, Digital and Operations, and support the F&B team on topline management and performance tracking
• Analyse pricing changes and promotions, and assess their impact on sales, gross margin and funnel metrics
• Assess business development opportunities, build financial models and scenarios, and track approved initiatives against their business cases
• Use modern analytics, AI and automation to improve the speed, quality and consistency of planning, tracking and reporting
• Create executive-ready presentations and communicate performance, risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders, and travel periodically to markets

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related discipline
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Retail Finance, FP&A or business finance, ideally in retail, consumer products or an omnichannel environment
• Strong retail judgment, confident and adaptable in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial mindset
• Willingness to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders and to travel periodically within Singapore and Malaysia

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint, with strong financial modelling and presentation capabilities
• Experience with SAP, Hyperion, MicroStrategy, Power BI or similar tools is preferred
• Comfort using modern analytical and productivity tools, including AI
