Risk Services, Sustainability and Climate Change Advisory - Manager / Senior Manager

About the role

PwC's Risk Services practice offers independent assurance and insight to help clients manage, mitigate and control risks, from cybersecurity breaches to supply chain disruptions. This Manager / Senior Manager position sits in the Sustainability and Climate Change practice within General Consulting, working with corporate, private equity and public sector clients to help them adapt to ESG frameworks and regulations and future-proof their businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor on ESG and sustainability matters
• Work with clients and engagement teams to help them adapt to ESG frameworks such as GRI, SASB, WEF and UNPRI
• Stay connected with emerging ESG trends across the global PwC network
• Calculate corporate carbon footprints accurately
• Manage and develop teams to deliver client engagements
• Assist in business development and pitching assignments

Required profile

• 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably with a sustainability and climate change background and ESG project experience
• A graduate degree in business, engineering, environmental science or an equivalent
• Knowledge of and experience with international sustainability and assurance guidelines and standards
• Ability to write corporate policies, SOPs and process documents
• Strong written and verbal communication, proposal preparation and client management skills
• Willingness to work collaboratively
