Safety Coordinator

About the role

The Safety Coordinator supports the Manager and Authorized Managers in ensuring effective workplace health and safety (WSH) management at the site. This role involves regular safety inspections, incident investigations, and the development of safety standards to maintain a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager and Authorized Managers with overall operational effectiveness of WSH management as per contract requirements.
• Conduct at least weekly random safety inspections across the site.
• Support the Manager in investigating all incidents.
• Maintain safe working conditions throughout the workplace.
• Formulate and suggest work safety standards and enforce related procedures.
• Carry out random and surprise safety inspections on all staff.
• Follow any additional instructions from the Supervisor or Manager.

• Ability to assist senior managers in WSH management tasks.
• Willingness to conduct regular and surprise safety inspections.
