Sales Assistant – FICC Client Onboarding (12‑month contract)

About the role

As a Sales Assistant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, you will support the Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities (FICC) sales team by onboarding new clients and ensuring all customer data complies with anti‑money‑laundering (AML) and know‑your‑customer (KYC) standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end onboarding for new FICC clients, including intake, documentation collection and account setup.
• Liaise with sales, operations and compliance teams to keep onboarding stages on schedule.
• Verify client information against AML/KYC requirements and submit compliance documentation for approval.
• Respond to client inquiries about onboarding timelines and required documents.
• Prepare status reports and summary updates for the sales team.
• Identify and implement process improvements to shorten onboarding cycles.
• Perform general administrative tasks to support team operations.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services.
• Fluent Mandarin to communicate with North‑Asia clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across geographies and cultures.
