Sales Executive – Nanyang Executive Centre Hospitality

About the role

The NTU Office of Commercial and Auxiliary Services seeks a proactive Sales Executive to drive business growth for the Nanyang Executive Centre, a premier venue offering 150 refurbished guestrooms and event spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Promote NEC accommodation and event spaces to NTU audiences, external clients, and individual guests, implementing upselling and cross‑selling strategies.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients to secure repeat business.
• Monitor market trends and industry developments to maintain competitive positioning.
• Achieve individual KPI and revenue targets as set out in the yearly business plan.
• Negotiate rates, terms, and contracts, and ensure accurate capture of billing information and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with Operations, Front Office, Banquet, Revenue, and Marketing teams to align pricing, promotions, and service delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Hotel Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build rapport and maintain long‑term client relationships.
• Skilled in negotiating prices and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements.
• Professional, service‑oriented demeanor with a commitment to exceeding client expectations.
