Sales Finance Manager

About the role

Silvaco, a semiconductor design software company founded in Silicon Valley, is looking for a Sales Finance Manager in Singapore to build and own its sales finance function. It is a cross-functional role partnering with sales, business units, business development and marketing to develop and lead forecasting and market data processes, and to drive process improvements in Salesforce.

Key responsibilities

• Create and run a detailed forecasting process for bookings and revenue, including demand assessment and the long-term market model and share assumptions
• Support weekly revenue meetings with executives and stakeholders, and analyze win/loss rates, pipeline health and pricing by product, length and customer tier
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports on bookings, revenue, pipeline and other analytics by product, region and business unit
• Run revenue analytics so milestones are recognized correctly, including license revenue, change orders and non-standard revenue recognition
• Review and support the commission process, set quotas and forecast commission spend
• Approve payment terms and work with the credit team on issues
• Keep Salesforce accurate with sales and sales operations, stay up to date on field activity and attend relevant meetings
• Work with sales on deal structures (bundling, flows, renewals, IP re-use, contingent pricing) and manage the quoting process while ensuring compliance with price lists and exceptions

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a business-related field
• 4-6 years of experience partnering with sales teams and running a forecasting process
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, able to lead internal stakeholders by influence

Required skills

• Experience with Salesforce, including reports, system structure and related processes
• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of accounting systems preferred, especially Sage Intacct
• Understanding of ASC 606 software revenue recognition is a plus
