Sales Manager - Solar (2-Year Contract)

About the role

TotalEnergies Marketing Asia-Pacific Middle East is hiring a Sales Manager for its solar distributed generation business in Singapore, on a 24-month fixed-term contract. The role implements the Distributed Generation APAC business model, sells contracts in line with the agreed joint venture model and keeps activities compliant with HSE and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Distributed Generation APAC business model, effect sales contracts according to the agreed JV model and comply with HSE and compliance standards.
• Segment and target the market, build a balanced pipeline of opportunities and grow the C&I portfolio (marketing, origination, sales and service).
• Identify and target potential customers and partnerships, and educate them on the benefits of solar energy and their proposed systems.
• Present and explain solar solutions, answer technical questions and negotiate high-value contracts.
• Carry out site assessments, write accurate reports and contribute to PV system design in line with local regulations and technical specifications.
• Work with pre-sales, project, technical and post-sales teams, and coordinate with regulators and third parties for project execution.
• Keep up with industry trends, technologies and regulations, document customer activity in CRM (Salesforce) and report on KPIs.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a commercial or industrial environment.
• Experience with Singapore electrical norms, renewable energy regulations and construction codes is desired.
• Degree in engineering or related professional qualifications considered a plus.
• Experience in renewable energy, particularly solar, is an advantage.
• Proven track record of building, negotiating and executing contracts.
• Ability to work independently and strong presentation and communication skills.
