SDN Presales Architect - Cloud Operations Suite (CSP/MSP)

About the role

HPE is hiring a CSP Presales Architect for its Cloud Operations Suite team in Singapore, working with the CSP/MSP presales function. The role is hybrid, with about two days per week spent in an HPE office. You will act as the technical bridge between HPE and its partner ecosystem, helping partners design and deliver complex hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local sales and pre-sales technical teams to deliver technical presentations, run proofs of concept and kick off initial software implementations.
• Act as the link between the field and development, feeding customer and prospect feedback back to Product and Development teams.
• Drive the technical sales process and become the trusted advisor for customers in large, complex environments.
• Deliver compelling demonstrations and presentations, and lead technical POCs.
• Provide technical and business value to CSP/MSP partners and their customers through enablement, whiteboard discussions, demos and post-sales support.

Required profile

• 10+ years of solution architecture experience.
• Ability to design implementation architectures and understand the IT operations and cloud-native markets.
• Strong written and oral communication, presentation and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to communicate in English and the applicable local languages, in person and virtually.

Required skills

• Container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes and Mesos.
• Enterprise networking: routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, QoS, network security.
• SDN, network virtualization, overlays/underlays, VXLAN/EVPN and network automation.
• Working knowledge of cloud networking and hybrid infrastructure.
• Some programming skills (Java, Python, PHP, JSON, Node.js, JavaScript).
• Preferred: Kubernetes/container networking, AIOps, MCP, ITOM experience and networking/cloud certifications.
