About the role

Cognita People is recruiting a Secondary Teacher (English) for the Australian International School in Singapore. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, and carries out safer recruitment practice and pre-employment background checks before confirming appointments. The position is expected to start in January 2027.

Required profile

• A minimum four-year recognised teaching qualification, including a Bachelor's degree and Postgraduate Teaching Diploma or university qualification, or a Bachelor of Education.
• At least three years of full-time teaching experience in a recognised educational institution is ideal, although graduates may be considered.
• IBDP/IGCSE and/or HSC experience is preferred but not essential.
• Experience in an international school environment is a distinct advantage.

• Ability to work as part of a team and an interest in taking part in the wider school community.
