Senior Accountant – Singapore

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Senior Accountant to lead finance operations, reporting and compliance for our Singapore business. You will ensure accurate financial statements, strengthen internal controls and drive efficiency through process and technology improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and manage month‑end and year‑end close.
• Maintain general ledger, balance‑sheet reconciliations and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, GST regulations and company policies.
• Produce management reports, support budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Identify and implement finance process improvements, automation and ERP enhancements.
• Develop SOPs, document processes and collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflows.
• Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT or Claude to enhance reporting quality and productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA).
• Minimum 5 years of accounting and financial reporting experience in Singapore.
• Hands‑on experience with full sets of accounts, statutory reporting, GST and audit coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and compliance requirements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail.
