Senior Accountant – Singapore Tax & Accounting

About the role

Join a dynamic finance team responsible for comprehensive accounting and tax compliance for Singapore entities. The role offers exposure to international tax planning, analytics, and key financial processes across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee bookkeeping for Singapore local entities and review business transaction documentation for accuracy.
• Manage coordination of external audit affairs.
• Develop and maintain tax systems, ensuring Corporate Income Tax and GST compliance with IRAS.
• Conduct regular health checks on tax compliance and implement risk‑mitigation mechanisms.
• Handle intercompany service agreements, transfer pricing documentation and profitability reviews.
• Lead responses to tax audits and formulate compliance strategies.
• Support international tax policy research and monitor cross‑border tax updates.
• Assist in international tax structuring, business model assessments and communication with tax authorities.
• Perform routine tax statistical analysis and prepare analytical reports.
• Collaborate with Group Treasury on bank account management and regulatory compliance.
• Provide accounting support for overseas projects and participate in short‑term assignments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Tax or Finance; CA (Singapore) or CPA Australia preferred.
• Approximately 10 years of full‑cycle accounting, tax filing and IRAS audit experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and SFRS.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to perform under pressure and a collaborative team player.
• Willingness to undertake short‑term international travel as needed.
