Senior Advisor, Ecosystem Programmes and Partnerships

About the role

This eight‑month fixed‑term contract supports Standard Chartered’s Foundation in shifting from project‑based interventions to ecosystem‑led solutions that create sustainable pathways to employment, entrepreneurship and economic inclusion for young people.

Key responsibilities

• Accelerate the transition to ecosystem‑based programming across priority markets, embedding systems thinking into programme design, capital allocation and partner engagement.
• Coach and mentor Foundation staff and market teams, lead workshops, and develop guidance, toolkits and frameworks for consistent ecosystem application.
• Lead ecosystem and market diagnostics to identify barriers, opportunities and leverage points in youth employment and entrepreneurship systems.
• Advise on blended finance, catalytic capital and outcomes‑based financing to improve sustainability and mobilise additional resources.

Required profile

• Approximately 15+ years of relevant experience in systems change, ecosystem development or related fields.
• Proven ability to develop strategic partnerships, conduct market diagnostics and design innovative finance mechanisms.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior‑level communication skills.

Required skills

• Significant international experience across multiple countries and regions in ecosystem building and collective impact.
• Experience conducting ecosystem assessments, diagnostics and strategic analyses, and designing implementation tools.
