Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI & ML Solutions

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI‑powered solutions that address complex business challenges. The role combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands‑on experience in machine learning and Generative AI, working closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and launch AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for enterprise applications.
• Build and maintain data pipelines, model training workflows, and deployment frameworks.
• Develop applications using Large Language Models, Retrieval‑Augmented Generation, AI agents and prompt engineering.
• Fine‑tune, evaluate and optimise models for accuracy, performance, scalability and cost.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data engineers, product managers and business stakeholders.
• Integrate AI services with cloud platforms via APIs and micro‑services architecture.
• Monitor model performance in production, troubleshoot issues and implement continuous improvements.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, privacy and responsible AI standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in software engineering, machine learning, data science or AI development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with Java, JavaScript or C#.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch and Scikit‑learn.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLM technologies and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and containerisation tools.
