Senior Assistant Director, Employer Engagement

About the role

The Senior Assistant Director, Employer Engagement leads the Employer Engagement & Operations function for Nanyang Business School Graduate Studies, driving strategic partnerships and operational excellence to enhance graduate employability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement employer engagement and operational strategies aligned with graduate studies objectives.
• Lead, manage and develop the Employer Engagement & Operations team to deliver high‑quality services.
• Build and strengthen strategic relationships with employers, recruiters, alumni and industry partners across key sectors.
• Oversee employment outcomes reporting, data governance and compliance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with programme, student engagement, faculty and alumni teams to support graduate studies goals.
• Lead strategic projects, process improvements and technology initiatives to enhance operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Recognised bachelor’s degree; postgraduate qualification or MBA advantageous.
• Significant leadership experience managing teams, stakeholders and strategic initiatives.
• Proven experience in employer engagement, business development, partnership management or related functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills with senior internal and external partners.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• International exposure and experience working across diverse cultures and markets.
• Experience in higher education, executive education, graduate programmes or career services is a plus.
