Senior Assistant Director, IT Applications Support

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Assistant Director, IT Applications Support to oversee Finance‑related applications and integration. The role ensures stability, reliability and performance of these systems while collaborating with Finance business users, internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee incident management, ensuring SLA compliance and act as escalation point for critical issues.
• Lead a support team, manage schedules, performance and vendor relationships.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, prevent recurring problems and manage audit queries.
• Lead AMS support and end‑to‑end project execution for SAP, SAP Ariba and other finance applications.
• Explore new technologies, contribute to strategic planning and design AI‑driven finance solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• At least 12 years of IT experience, including 10 years in application support and 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with internal/external audit support and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• SAP, SAP Ariba, CPI, BTP, and related enterprise platforms.
• ServiceNow, Jira, ITIL incident/problem/change management.
• Web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, RESTful services.
• Middleware, API integrations and low‑code platforms such as OutSystems.
• Workday and payroll system knowledge (advantageous).
