Senior Assistant Manager – Deputy Cluster Lead (Hall Office)

About the role

The Office of Campus Housing (OCH) at NTU manages student and faculty accommodation, sports and recreation facilities, and related services. This position supports the Deputy Cluster Lead of the student hostel, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and enhancing resident experience. It offers a chance to develop leadership, customer relationship management, and operational skills within a university environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and oversee hostel application processing, room assignments, wait‑list handling and appeals.
• Conduct comprehensive room inspections to ensure high‑quality check‑ins for students.
• Accurately bill hall fees, process refunds, and follow up on collections.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external contractors on maintenance and repair updates.
• Engage residents, address requests, feedback and complaints promptly to meet SLA requirements.
• Organise routine walkthroughs, safety checks, incident investigations and enforce appropriate sanctions.

Required profile

• Degree holder with more than 5 years of managerial experience in residential management, customer service, hospitality or central administration.
• Experience in student hostels, staff housing or hospitality services is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise staff, manage procurement, stock‑taking and reporting processes.
