Senior Assistant Manager, EdTech Solutions

About the role

NTU Singapore's InsPIRE Educational Services is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager, EdTech Solutions, based at the NTU Main Campus. You will design and deploy enterprise AI applications that transform teaching and learning, working with educators, technologists and university leaders. The role reports to the Senior Assistant Director, Educational EdTech Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, test and deploy enterprise software and AI-driven educational tools using Python and Java to improve learning outcomes and engagement.
• Build secure integrations between learning management platforms and enterprise databases.
• Use LLM APIs and AI agent frameworks to build educational assistants and workflow automations.
• Partner with academic units and operational teams to understand user needs and guide faculty and students.
• Maintain system architecture documentation and research emerging AI, automation and analytics technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of hands-on backend software development with Python or Java in an enterprise environment.
• Practical experience building applications with LLM APIs (e.g. Gemini, OpenAI, Claude) and prompt engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, Google ADK or Bedrock Agents.
• Experience deploying containerized applications (Docker) on AWS or GCP with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and adaptability.
