Senior Assistant Manager, Environmental Sustainability

About the role

NTU’s Office of Development and Facilities Management is looking for a Senior Assistant Manager to lead sustainability initiatives across the campus. You will oversee energy and utility monitoring, drive efficiency projects, and ensure compliance with Singapore’s Green Mark standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and monitor campus energy, water, waste and carbon data.
• Develop and implement energy‑efficiency and sustainability solutions.
• Prepare and submit sustainability reports to government agencies.
• Manage Green Mark renewal for existing residential and academic buildings.
• Review technical submissions from contractors and oversee building mechanical upgrades.
• Operate and maintain Building Management and Utility Management systems.
• Coordinate ad‑hoc sustainability projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Degree in Building/Facilities Management, Mechanical or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in building services, M&E, Green Mark consultancy or construction.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability trends, low‑carbon technologies and BCA Green Mark criteria.
• Proven project‑management abilities and effective stakeholder communication.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Familiarity with ACMV (air‑conditioning and mechanical ventilation) controls.
