Senior Assistant Manager, Matriculation and Candidature

About the role

The Senior Assistant Manager, Matriculation and Candidature will support graduate student administration from enrolment through graduation. Working within the Office of Academic Services, you will ensure smooth onboarding, accurate records, and timely processing of student requests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end student matriculation processes, including planning, system setup, and coordination with relevant offices.
• Maintain accurate student records and enrolment data for operational and reporting needs.
• Administer student requests such as leave of absence, programme withdrawal, re‑admission and candidature extensions, ensuring policy compliance.
• Support programme or mode‑of‑study changes in collaboration with schools.
• Respond to data requests and handle student information in line with data‑protection policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve student cases and deliver consistent service.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements for efficiency and governance.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline.
• 4–6 years of experience in administrative or clerical roles.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with databases or student information systems.
• Working knowledge of data tools such as Denodo (advantage).
