Senior Associate, Chemical Production Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior Associate to drive improvements in routine and non‑routine processes within Chemical Production. You will provide scientific, engineering and validation support, collaborating with R&D and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth product and process transfers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead initiatives and projects that enhance system performance, safety, and compliance in Chemical Production.
• Act as a main contributor on technology transfer projects, delivering results on schedule and within budget.
• Perform equipment commissioning, qualification, and process validation for new and existing equipment.
• Conduct periodic CSA activities such as user access reviews and audit‑trail reviews.
• Investigate non‑conformances, implement corrective actions (CAPA), and verify their effectiveness.
• Execute validations in line with AML procedures and cGMP, SOPs, and applicable guidelines.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in pharmaceutical, medical‑device, or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
• At least two years of validation experience.
• Strong technical problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office.
• Solid understanding of GMP, GDP, and related regulatory standards.
