Senior Associate - Employment Tax (Workforce Practice)

About the role

PwC's Tax Services is one of the largest tax practices in Singapore, advising clients on tax strategy, planning and compliance. This Senior Associate position sits in the Workforce Practice, which covers employment taxes, immigration, HR operations, advisory and total rewards. You will work as part of a team, supporting managers and senior managers in delivering solutions to clients on workforce management, covering employment and equity taxes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive, technically sound Singapore and international personal tax advice, working with the corporate tax team on structuring, investments, M&A, family office set-ups and other advisory work for Singapore and global clients.
• Help build people and organisation solutions for clients, identifying tax optimisation opportunities from strategy through implementation.
• Support clients with individual tax or payroll-related tax compliance, including considerations in and out of Singapore.
• Maintain strong client relationships and proactively keep clients informed about market changes and trends.
• Learn and apply digital solutions, including Robotic Process Automation and data analytics.

Required profile

• Degree holder with 2 to 4 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of workforce management, covering employment and equity taxes in Singapore.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage projects, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
