Senior Associate, Product Designer - IBG Employee Experience

About the role

DBS is hiring a Senior Associate, Product Designer for its IBG Employee Experience team within Group Design, Consumer Banking Group. The role sits in the Institutional Banking Group design team, which delivers best-in-class digital customer experiences for retail and wealth segments, and reports to the Head of Design, Institutional Banking Group. It is based in Singapore and is a regular, full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Shape end-to-end design of key journeys, from opportunity framing and discovery through to shipped product and post-launch iteration, balancing aesthetics with the big picture.
• Help with UX strategy and maturity: run discovery activities to define high-level user stories and identify key features and capabilities with stakeholders.
• Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes and design specs independently or with key project members to guide development sprints.
• Communicate research findings, design rationale, product analytics and user testing results to end users, and lead some sharing sessions.
• Take part in executive-level design reviews, steering stakeholders to focus on problems rather than solutions.
• Share ideas on processes and tools that make the team work faster and smarter.

Required profile

• Demonstrated design excellence across multiple successful projects.
• Ability to understand abstract, interconnected problems and turn them into clear pathways and tangible outputs.
• Confident, clear communication with stakeholders and strong relationship building.
• Comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative data and able to get to the root of problems.
• 5 to 8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work that improved customer outcomes and key metrics.
