Senior Associate, Registration Services

About the role

State Street is hiring a Registration Services Senior Associate in Singapore. The role covers trade package preparation, trade document management for fund of funds clients, transaction posting oversight and coordination with an overseas support team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare trade packages to precise standards and resolve trade package queries, audits and ad hoc financial reports
• Build client relationships for fund of funds trade document management, manage inquiries and escalations, and support onboarding, conversions and client changes
• Assist in client meetings and presentations
• Monitor, process and review transaction posting and investment ID tagging, taking ownership of the posting process and liaising with the internal team
• Coordinate with and train the overseas support team where necessary
• Track outstanding queries, keep them managed in a timely way and ensure activities follow internal standards and policies
• Support continuous improvement forums and promote collaboration across businesses and jurisdictions
• Identify and report risk, compliance issues and suspicious activity, and act in line with Risk Excellence

Required profile

• Prior fund administration and/or fund KYC/AML experience
• Knowledge of alternative investment products including hedge funds, private equity and hybrids
• Experience of fund of funds trading processes, pricing, corporate actions, commitments and cash flows
• 3+ years of product knowledge; strong knowledge of fund of funds trading documents (subscription, redemption, transfer, proxy, corporate action) is a plus
• Comprehensive procedural, technical and product knowledge of fund administration and fund of funds operations
