Senior Audit Lead – Singapore

About the role

The Senior Audit Lead will provide independent third‑line assurance for ANZ’s Institutional Business in Singapore and across the broader network. Reporting to the Audit Director – Markets, International & Head of Audit – Singapore & SEA, the role leads and supports audit engagements, delivering evidence‑based assessments of governance, risk management and control effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements in Singapore and contribute to complex audits across the Institutional Business.
• Deliver timely, high‑quality audit reports, findings and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Manage audit delivery against agreed timelines and budgets, escalating risks and ensuring issue follow‑up.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of MAS and international regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Support the Audit Director and act as a Material Risk Person, escalating matters to senior managers as required.

Required profile

• Significant experience in internal audit within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of MAS regulatory environment and global internal audit standards.
• Ability to lead audit teams, manage stakeholder relationships and communicate findings effectively.
• Designated Material Risk Person under MAS Guidelines on Individual Accountability and Conduct.
