Senior Audit Manager, Vice President

About the role

State Street is looking for a Senior Audit Manager, Vice President to join its regional audit team in Singapore. The role covers audit activities in Singapore while contributing to the broader outcomes of the Asia-Pacific and global audit teams. It requires a deep understanding of State Street's businesses and services, including Custody, Markets and Investment Services, and knowledge of MAS; experience of regulations in other Asia-Pacific jurisdictions is an advantage. The position follows a hybrid model of 4 days on site and 1 day remote.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute a portfolio of audit projects, managing planning, assessment, testing and reporting in line with audit methodology and OKR standards.
• Work with regional peers to oversee entity-related projects and record their applicability and outcomes.
• Contribute to regional and global initiatives improving the audit function.
• Promote the use of technology tools to increase audit assurance.
• Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships across the portfolio, including with banks' resiliency and technology organizations, and raise risk insight.
• Develop team members and communicate audit progress, findings and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a financial services-related field.
• 8+ years of experience auditing one or more of State Street's product suites.
• Audit or assurance experience in banking, financial services or other regulated industries.
• Experience leading and supervising audit projects, preferably in the global financial services industry.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Occasional travel of up to 10% of the year may be required.

Required skills

• Evaluating business risks and testing internal controls with risk-based approaches.
• Project management and prioritizing multiple tasks independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
• Preferred certifications such as CIA or CISA.
