Senior Cloud Platform Solution Architect (Japanese Speaking)

About the role

Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Advisory & Professional Services, Strategy and Solution team is looking for a Senior Cloud Platform Solution Architect in Singapore who speaks fluent Japanese. The role sits within the Cloud Platform segment, which covers cloud service management and hyperscaler integration, and is expected to grow at double-digit rates. It is a hybrid position with about two days per week spent in an HPE office.

Key responsibilities

• Architect custom, reusable solutions of program, enterprise or operational scope, and capture and share architectural IP.
• Define and implement architectural governance, and lead architecture teams on complex, medium to large opportunities.
• Develop long-term IT strategies and plans, assess the business impact of technologies and strategies, and identify technical or operational risks.
• Review large enterprise or global projects, collaborate with project managers on plans and work breakdown structures, and deliver sales presentations to CEOs, COOs and CIOs.
• Lead business development for large, complex opportunities: qualify and close deals, prepare proposals and bids, and run the SOAR approval process.
• Write Statements of Work and apply program/project management methods to large projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of enterprise experience.
• Fluent or native English and Japanese (mandatory).
• Expert or master-level knowledge of multiple technologies, with deep IT industry knowledge and a sense of emerging trends.
• Ability to design for accessibility, scalability and availability, and to apply business acumen, financial modelling and risk analysis.
