Senior Commercial Director - Institutional Payments

About the role

Axiom is recruiting, on behalf of an established, institutionally backed fintech, a Senior Commercial Director for institutional payments. The fintech builds global payment infrastructure across payments, FX, treasury, merchant services and fiat and digital-asset settlement. The role owns the full commercial journey from first conversation to live revenue, selling a flexible infrastructure proposition to financial and technology businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Build and convert a strong institutional pipeline
• Engage senior decision-makers and open strategic relationships
• Shape tailored solutions around complex customer needs
• Work cross-functionally to bring deals to market
• Lead negotiations and close new business
• Own relationships through launch, revenue and account growth

Potential coverage includes institutional payments across Singapore and Southeast Asia, Greater China inbound and cross-border flows, and complex B2B collections, FX, treasury and payout solutions, including institutional digital-asset payments and stablecoin settlement.

Required profile

• Proven success originating and closing institutional deals
• Strong access to senior decision-makers
• Clear track record of delivering commercial results
• Experience across payments, FX, fintech or digital assets
• High ownership, commercial judgement and full-cycle sales capability
