Senior Consultant – IT Internal Audit (Risk Consulting)

About the role

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its IT Internal Audit team in Singapore. You will lead engagements that assess technology controls, improve operational and compliance processes, and identify cost‑saving opportunities for clients across industries.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance and share knowledge with junior team members while performing complex audit procedures.
• Develop engagement plans that meet professional standards and address identified risks.
• Brief the engagement team on the client’s IT environment and emerging industry trends.
• Maintain relationships with client management to set expectations for deliverables, timing, and quality.
• Apply a deep understanding of information systems to evaluate technological developments and their business impact.
• Manage engagement budgets, timelines, and quality of outputs.
• Prepare clear, concise audit reports that include objectives, scope, findings, risk implications, root causes, and recommendations.
• Present audit findings and recommendations to client senior management.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in IT internal audit, risk consulting, or related technology assurance roles.
• Proven ability to lead audit engagements and mentor junior staff.
• Strong analytical mindset with the capacity to interpret complex IT environments.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with client stakeholders and presenting findings.
• Demonstrated project‑management capabilities, including budget and timeline oversight.
